Now heres your funny story:
Kids’ Logic

6-year-old Jimmy, a precocious kid, always told everyone he wanted to be a doctor when he grew up. One day as Jimmy was running through his house playing, he ran into the corner of a table and hurt his eye. Being a little kid, Jimmy cried for a while but also kept saying, “Oh no, now I can never be a doctor when I grow up.”

Jimmy’s mom trying to reassure him told Jimmy that he could still be a doctor but Jimmy kept insisting that he couldn’t.

Finally she asked, “Why can’t you be a doctor, Jimmy?”

Holding one hand over his injured eye, Jimmy said, “Because now I will have to be a pirate!”

Ha Ha Ha!!! That’s funny stuff!!! Now heres your news:

Ada blaze destroys big Methodist church

ADA — Fire destroyed the 113-year-old First United Methodist Church in Ada, roaring through stained-glass windows and caving in the roof, leaving only some of the stone masonry standing Tuesday.

No one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart said.

Dozens of firefighters from Ada, Bluffton, Kenton, McGuffey, Alger, Dunkirk, Lafayette, Mount Cory and Jenera hosed down the building into the late afternoon.

The blaze was reported about 12:15 p.m., the Ada Police Department reported.

Tara Swaney was teaching a Head Start class in the basement of the church, and practicing a tornado drill with her students, when she heard the fire alarm go off. She ushered all of the children out of the building safely.

“We didn’t know it was a real fire until we got to our normal meeting spot,” Swaney said. “Then we saw smoke pouring out of the windows and doors and we heard the windows shattering and we knew it wasn’t a drill.”

Connie Flemming, who has attended the church for 35 years, stood by taking photographs as firefighters put out the blaze.

Flemming was upset that the church was “demolished” because of its importance in Ada, serving the congregation and as a meeting place for many groups and organizations.

“A lot of people use the church — the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Head Start,” Flemming said. “Everyone made it out safely, so I’m thankful for that.”

“It was a lot more than a church,” said Ada Mayor Dave Retterer. “There was a kitchen down there, and the Kiwanis met there, and hundreds of people go through there all the time. It’s a community center.

“It’s been here since 1899 and the people at First United Methodist are so generous. There have been funerals here, and people have gotten married here, so it’s a big shock to the community,” Retterer said.

Pastor Mary Jo Yeakel declined comment.

Ernest Hackwort’s two daughters were married at the church.

Despite the “big loss,” Hackwort said, “they’ll build it back.”

The State Fire Marshal’s Office was at the scene Tuesday to investigate the cause of the blaze.

Main Street in Ada, which is Ohio 235, was expected to be closed through the night, Ada police reported.

According to the church’s website, the Rev. Samuel Hagerman organized a Methodist class in 1852 that met in a schoolhouse at the corner of Main and Montford streets in Ada.

In 1866, the Methodists built a two-story building on the corner of Gilbert Street and Highland Avenue. With a growing congregation, a new church was built at 301 N. Main St. and dedicated June 18, 1899.

Wow that was probably scary for the people around there!

Now Heres your song:

“If I Die Young”

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a, bed of roses
Sink me in the river, at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

Uh oh, uh oh

Lord make me a rainbow, I’ll shine down on my mother
She’ll know I’m safe with you when she stands under my colors, oh well
Life ain’t always what you think it ought to be, no
Ain’t even grey, but she buries her baby

The sharp knife of a short life, well
I’ve had just enough time

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

The sharp knife of a short life, well
I’ve had just enough time

And I’ll be wearing white, when I come into your kingdom
I’m as green as the ring on my little cold finger,
I’ve never known the lovin’ of a man
But it sure felt nice when he was holdin’ my hand,
There’s a boy here in town, says he’ll love me forever,
Who would have thought forever could be severed by

The sharp knife of a short life, well,
I’ve had just enough time

So put on your best boys and I’ll wear my pearls
What I never did is done

A penny for my thoughts, oh no, I’ll sell ’em for a dollar
They’re worth so much more after I’m a goner
And maybe then you’ll hear the words I been singin’
Funny when you’re dead how people start listenin’

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

Uh oh (uh, oh)
The ballad of a dove (oh, uh)
Go with peace and love
Gather up your tears, keep ’em in your pocket
Save ’em for a time when you’re really gonna need ’em, oh

The sharp knife of a short life, well
I’ve had just enough time

So put on your best boys and I’ll wear my pearls

The Band Perry is cool right? Now next week I will start Dear Jackson, You can either E-mail me or comment me to see the problem you’ve been having and I will answer it. Bye everyone!
